Culinary Battles® 2014: Supreme Asian Chef was a star-studded culinary competition focused on Asian cuisine to introduce Asian Culture, the quest to find America’s Supreme Asian Chef.
6 Chefs participated in the East coast regional of the Culinary Battles. Every chef used all kinds of the ingredients in the Mystery box and kept their time at the same time. Two winners, Chef David Park and Jay Cho, were selected at the end of the Battle to compete with the West coast regional winners at Las Vegas.
After an intense competition in front of a live audience at Caesars Palace, Culinary Battles®: Supreme Asian Chef named its 2014 winner, Chef Perry Cheung, the chef and owner of Phorage, a critically-acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant in Los Angeles. Chef Cheung rose to the top competing against great culinary talents that included Jay Cho, David Park and Chris Oh. Each chef had advanced from regional competitions sponsored by Caesars Entertainment in Los Angeles and at Caesars Atlantic City.
